Job Title: Pollinator-Industrial
Location: Nampa, (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract – 6 Months
Schedule: Flexible Weekday Schedule + Weekend Availability Required
Pay Rate: $14–$18/hour (Based on Experience)
Sigma, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Pollinator-Industrial professional to support greenhouse and plant breeding operations in Nampa, Idaho. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in agriculture, plant science, biology, greenhouse operations, or agricultural research.

Work Schedule- Weekdays: Flexible schedule, typically between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weekends: Required
- Must be available to water plants by 11:30 AM
- Weekend shifts range from 2–8 hours per day
- Work approximately 1–3 weekdays per week in addition to weekend responsibilities
- Assist with alfalfa breeding and germplasm development activities
- Perform alfalfa crossing and pollination tasks
- Water, seed, transplant, prune, stake, and pot plants
- Monitor plant health and growth conditions
- Maintain greenhouse cleanliness and organization
- Count and record plant breeding data accurately
- Assist with collection and preparation of field samples
- Grind alfalfa samples and support quality testing activities
- Follow research protocols and maintain accurate records
- Utilize required PPE including masks, hearing protection, and safety goggles
- Follow greenhouse and laboratory safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to perform repetitive and detail-focused tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to work independently after training
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Background or coursework in Biology, Agriculture, Plant Science, Horticulture, or related field
- Previous greenhouse, farming, agricultural, laboratory, or research experience
- Experience maintaining records and following detailed procedures
