  • Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled as‑needed for both 12‑hour day and night shifts. Hours vary based on business needs; shifts may include weekends, weekdays and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous security or military experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have active driving privileges. If driving privileges change or a citation is received, notify supervisor and/or HR.
What You Will Do
  • Maintain a secure environment during disasters, fires and/or bomb threats.
  • Interact daily with the public regarding safety, visitor control, thefts, and any security problems that might arise.
  • Confront strangers and either direct them to the proper area or escort them off the medical center campus.
  • Conduct package inspections and checks property leaving the facility for proper authorization.
  • Report vulnerable situations, hazards, and/or equipment malfunctions to the proper department or persons for corrective action.
  • Check employee and service personnel for proper .
  • Physically restrain a person with the necessary force to protect all involved in a combative situation.
  • Operate motor vehicle, two‑way radio, camera, and electronic surveillance equipment and demonstrate basic computer skills.
