Heavy Equipment/Service Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment/Service Mechanic

Full-Time Year-Round Local Work!

Pay is $25.00/hr+ Depending on Experience.

Job Requirements

* Must have a US Issued unexpired Commercial Driver's License.

* Clean driving record.

* Idaho CDL Preferred but not Required.

* Endorsements a plus. Medical Card preferred.

* Must be 18+ years old & able to legally work in the US.

* 5 years of experience and knowledge with maintenance and repair required for such units as: excavators, dozer, skid steers, backhoes, dump trucks, etc.

* FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration required.

* Mandatory pre-employment DOT drug screen and random drug testing while employed.

* Overtime may be needed.

Responsibilities

Daily tasks would include (but are not limited to)

* Basic maintenance and repairs to all types and sizes of construction equipment, controlling machines and fuel systems on company site, handling/moving objects and communicating with superintendents, drivers, and work crews.

* Must be able to lift 50lbs.

* Maintain a safe work environment with knowledge of occupational hazards and be able to maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
