We are seeking a full-time Property Damage Restoration/Mitigation Lead Technician to join our growing team and take care of our customers in southern and central Idaho and beyond. Puro Clean is a local, family‑owned mitigation and remediation company that responds to real and personal property damage caused by water, fire, mold, and biohazard (i.e., crime scene/trauma, etc.).
Responsibilities- Lead work processes, employees, sub‑contractors, and other aspects of field work while working with various types of equipment within homes and businesses occupied by one or more occupants.
- Lead people and processes, administer company‑provided policies and practices, and provide a safe environment for work and occupancy.
- Provide excellent customer service and conduct meticulous demolition of residential and commercial building materials.
- Conduct structural drying, salvage, and monitoring.
- Operate mobile technology documentation and other equipment.
- Work with mold, asbestos, lead, and various chemicals.
- Work in confined spaces such as attics and/or crawlspaces when required.
- Can work independently and with a team.
- Can lead and coach others.
- Reliable and honest.
- Sustain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide customers, teammates, and partners with five‑star white‑glove service.
- Maintain a pleasant demeanor and care about the outcome of the work performed.
- Be part of an on‑call rotation and respond to after‑hours calls.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screening.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Follow written and oral instructions; know when to ask for assistance.
- Be punctual.
- Accurately and timely complete all necessary paperwork and/or online documentation for each job.
- Ability to learn and navigate electronic mobile devices and utilize critical business software.
- Make reasoned decisions.
- Work a flexible schedule.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to multi‑task.
- Lift at least 40 lbs.
- Work long hours in less than ideal conditions.
- IICRC (e.g., WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, TCST) and asbestos/lead certifications are a requirement; higher pay for candidates with one or more.
- Experience with in one or more of the following mitigation/remediation disciplines (water, fire, mold, biohazard mitigation/remediation) or construction/demolition disciplines (general construction, framing, demolition) is required. Training and certification will be provided to the right candidate.
Job Type: Full‑time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE/DOQ
