Concrete Laborer
As a Concrete Laborer, you will engage in a variety of tasks including general labor, setting up and pouring concrete, and cleaning forms after use. You will also assist with basic carpentry and maintain a clean and organized workspace. This role is situated in a manufacturing environment where you will collaborate with a team to produce precast concrete products. While extensive experience is not required, prior exposure to construction or factory work is advantageous.
The position involves physical activity, requiring the ability to lift approximately 40 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
- Perform general labor and assist in setting up and pouring concrete.
- Clean and organize concrete forms after use.
- Support basic carpentry tasks and maintain workspace cleanliness.
- Collaborate with a team in the manufacturing of precast concrete products.
- Follow simple instructions, safety guidelines, and work orders effectively.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic carpentry and mechanical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in basic math and use of measurement tools such as tape measures and levels.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or concrete work preferred.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in outdoor or industrial environments with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
