Tank Welder

Mission Critical Group is seeking a skilled Tank Welder to support mission-critical infrastructure and data center projects. In this role, you will perform structural and pressure-vessel welding on tanks and related components using SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW processes. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and weld symbols, executing high-quality welds on carbon and stainless steel, performing fit-up and layout, and conducting basic weld inspection and repairs.

You'll collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to meet strict safety, quality, and schedule requirements while working within a performance-driven, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and pressure-vessel welding on tanks and related components
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols for fabrication and repairs
• Execute SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welds on carbon and stainless steel
• Conduct fit-up, layout, and preparation of materials prior to welding
• Inspect welds visually and with basic NDT tools as required and perform repairs
• Follow strict safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site protocols
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on project execution
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe working order
• Document work performed and support quality control and project reporting
