United Site Services is seeking a Trailer Technician to keep our service trailers and field equipment safe, reliable, and ready for demanding construction and event sites. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers, brakes, lighting, tires, and hitches while performing routine preventive maintenance and DOT/safety checks. You'll work in a fast-paced, safety-first environment, coordinating with operations teams, maintaining accurate repair records, and helping ensure dependable site solutions for customers nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair service trailers and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on brakes, lights, axles, tires, and hitches
- Complete DOT and safety inspections to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely
- Coordinate repairs and parts needs with supervisors and vendors
- Support field teams with on-site trailer service as needed
- Follow all safety, PPE, and company operational procedures
