Certified Technician
Treasure Valley Subaru is seeking a highly skilled and certified Master Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Subaru vehicles to the highest standards. We are looking for an individual with a passion for automotive excellence, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our customers.
You will also receive a guarantee, effective up to 60 days!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostics on Subaru vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles according to factory specifications.
- Complete complex mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, drive lines, and other components.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Subaru technologies, service bulletins, and repair techniques.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to enhance technical skills.
- Assist and mentor junior technicians in developing their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master Technician certification is required.
- At least 3 years of OEM experience.
- ASE certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Engine Repair, Transmission/Transaxle, Suspension, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a technician with a strong track record of successful repairs.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
