As the heart and soul of the Adult & Teen Challenge model, our residential discipleship programs minister to students day in and day out with the love of Christ. Our ATC Pac West "Student Covenant" comes to life through our campus teams as they Offer Life-Transformation. Classes using our nationally developed curriculum are used to facilitate the discipleship program across our organization.

General Statement of

Duties & Responsibilities:

40% Girls Program Supervision & Regulatory Compliance 20% Outreach, 20% Evangelism, and 20% Fundraising It is the Director's responsibility to oversee the operation of the Girls Adolescent Program, providing vision and planning for the therapeutic girls boarding school, and to serve as the program's Chief Administrator for purposes of Idaho state licensing. It is also the responsibility of the Director to secure the necessary funding needed to operate the program.

Position requires specific responsibility for the Girls Adolescent Program by:
Oversight of the program to ensure students are being discipled in a safe, trauma-informed, therapeutic environment; that staff are trained to provide healthy recovery and clinical services appropriate to adolescent females; and that volunteers are recruited and screened to partner in the transformation process. Ensuring the program operates in full compliance with the State of Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, Division of Licensing and Certification, including IDAPA 16.04.18, "Children's Agencies and Residential Licensing," as it applies to Children's Residential Care Facilities.

Providing outreach opportunities to program communities by training staff and students to conduct storefront displays, prevention presentations, and service projects. Establishing evangelism through itineration services, community focused ministry, and participating in Christian rallies and concerts. Managing internal accountability to program revenue through fundraising such as Student Scholarship, Itinerations, and donor meetings;
Working with the Regional Development team and local Development Coordinator on annual fundraising strategies. This position is determined to be a ministry staff position by role and function. Duties will include when necessary or directed: leading prayer and Bible studies, discipling students and others, conducting evangelistic or humanitarian outreaches, and teaching religious or non-religious instruction. Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance Responsibility:
The Director bears direct and personal responsibility for ensuring the Girls Adolescent Program maintains full compliance with all applicable State of Idaho licensing standards and all Teen Challenge USA accreditation requirements at all times. This responsibility includes:
Maintaining the program's Idaho Department of Health & Welfare license in good standing under IDAPA 16.04.18, including timely license renewal, cooperation with mandatory visitations and surveys, and prompt correction of any cited deficiencies within required time frames. Achieving and maintaining Teen Challenge USA program accreditation/certification, including preparing for and participating in all accreditation reviews, self-studies, site visits, and reporting required by Teen Challenge USA.

Ensuring staff qualifications, training records, clinical documentation, and facility operations meet or exceed both Idaho state licensing requirements and Teen Challenge USA accreditation standards on an ongoing basis, not only at time of review. Promptly notifying the VP of Campus Ministries of any compliance concerns, licensing deficiencies, or accreditation findings, and developing and executing corrective action plans within the time frames required by the Department and by Teen Challenge USA.
