As a Principal Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing robust applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will leverage your expertise to create scalable, serverless architectures that drive our cybersecurity solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using technologies like AWS Lambda, Dynamo
  
  DB, and Redshift, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Dev Ops Implementation:
  Lead efforts in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for smooth integration and deployment.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and implement features that enhance user experience and security.
• Event-Driven Architecture:
  Implement microservices and event-driven architectures to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Mentorship:
  Act as a technical mentor to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Technical Leadership:
  Collaborate with leadership to define the technical direction, balancing speed, innovation, and quality.

Must Have Skills

• Backend Languages:
  Experience with any backend language, preferably Python, especially at scale.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven systems.
• Experience with cloud architecture, preferably AWS or GCP.
• Proven experience in building Dev Ops frameworks, not just using existing tools.
• Background in architectural design for scalable applications.
• A hunger for growth and a desire to work in a low-ego environment.

Preferred Skills

• Cybersecurity experience, ideally in a startup environment.
• Experience with SIEMs and Graph
  
  DBs.
• Experience collaborating with product and design teams to develop user-centric applications.
• Travel readiness for client engagements or team retreats.
