Part‑Time Trip Driver – Nampa,
First Student is hiring Part Time Trip Drivers for Nampa, a Part‑Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be present at the start of the students’ day with a before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.
No experience as a bus driver is required; we’ll train you with our industry‑leading technology.
- Transport students safely to and from school, ensuring punctuality and adherence to safety regulations.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate trip records and submit logs as required.
- Adhere to DOT drug testing and safety‑sensitive employee requirements.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
- Part‑time schedule suitable; no college degree or high school diploma required.
- Military experience, return to the workforce, or looking for a second job is encouraged.
- Retirees are welcome as well.
- Enjoy working with students.
- Starting wage: $21.00 / hour – $27.50 / hour, based on experience as a school bus driver.
- $1,000 sign‑on bonus for non‑credentialed drivers; $2,000 sign‑on bonus for credentialed drivers.
- Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits plus 401(k) retirement savings plan (benefits may vary by location or CBA).
- Paid CDL training.
- Bonus expiration: 06/30/2025 (conditions apply).
