Position Description
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour. The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is the movement of product within the warehouse. The role also serves as a backup delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. Responsibilities include prioritizing and picking product to fill orders and physically moving and lifting product weighing up to 150 pounds.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in administrative tasks such as handling and preparation of paperwork and daily closing of the warehouse.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size, and type; inform management of inventory and supply shortages and assist in periodic inventory counts.
- Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over/under shipments, return of products to vendor, and segregate defective product from normal inventory flow; prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
- Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment to allow sufficient space for overflow.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) weighing greater than 50 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license when required.
- Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial tasks, including cleaning parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding areas; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms, and assist in daily closing of the warehouse.

- High School diploma or GED.
One to two years of related experience preferred.

Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle objects, reaching with hands and ar, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds and handling tires weighing more than 50 pounds. The employee must also have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work environment may expose the employee to prevailing weather conditions; noise level is usually moderate.
Travel required:
approximately 5% of the time.
