Duties
The Retail and Print Services Clerk provides clerical, administrative, and operational support to Campus Store retail operations and Print Services. The position is responsible for invoice preparation and submission, retail stocking, and inventory organization. During peak periods and in the absence of the Print Services Clerk, the role provides short‑term print services coverage by receiving and organizing print requests and operating printing and finishing equipment in accordance with established procedures.
The position works independently within defined guidelines under the general direction of the Campus Store Supervisor.
- Prepares and submits invoices and supporting documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintains records related to invoicing and print services to support operational tracking and reporting.
- Stocks retail areas and assists with the organization and maintenance of inventory storage areas.
- During peak periods and in the absence of the Print Services Clerk, provides print services coverage by monitoring print service requests and supporting print production workflows.
- Operates printing and commercial‑grade print finishing equipment to complete assigned print jobs in accordance with documented procedures.
- Uses computer applications and digital tools to support administrative efficiency, communication, and workflow coordination.
- Maintains retail and print work areas in a clean, orderly, and functional condition.
- Performs related clerical and operational duties as assigned.
Completion of Grade 12, supplemented by clerical or administrative training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience performing clerical and administrative work requiring accuracy and attention to detail, including invoice preparation and record maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer applications to support administrative efficiency and workflow, including intermediate use of spreadsheet and email applications.
- Basic working knowledge of commercial‑grade print finishing equipment sufficient to support print services coverage.
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines and meet service deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to respond to routine inquiries and coordinate work with colleagues.
- Experience working in a retail, print services, or service‑oriented environment.
- Experience providing print services support, including print job intake coordination or operation of printing or finishing equipment.
