Position: Receptionist Clerk for Imaging Services
Join Vancouver Island Health Authority as a Receptionist Clerk and play a key role in patient imaging services. Ensure seamless appointment bookings and support technical staff in a dynamic work environment.
In this position, you will report to the Coordinator, Support Services, handling various booking and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include processing patient requisitions, entering information into the Radiology Information System, and assisting with patient checks. You'll also manage digital imaging data and perform administrative duties like answering phones and filing paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process outpatient requisitions efficiently

• Enter and manage patient information in RIS

• Facilitate check-ins for scheduled imaging appointments

• Assist with digital image management and communication

• Handle telephone inquiries and administrative tasks
Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 with two years’ relevant experience

• Familiarity with medical terminology and office equipment

• Keyboarding skills of 45 wpm minimum

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities

• Capability to fulfill physical job demands
