Play a key role in advancing health services in BC as a Policy Analyst with FNHA. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Vancouver Island, focusing on collaborative health policy development.
As a Policy Analyst, you will be instrumental in developing policies that support First Nations’ health self-determination and the implementation of the First Nations Primary Care Initiative. By collaborating with First Nations leadership, you will drive strategic priorities while refining FNHA’s processes to promote effective health service delivery. Your cultural competency and emotional intelligence will be vital in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop administrative and community-level health policies
• Assist with the roll-out of key health initiatives
• Drive strategic priorities through effective planning
• Strengthen FNHA’s internal policies and operations
• Collaborate with diverse First Nations communities
Requirements:
• Degree in Political Science or similar
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Background in First Nations leadership collaboration
• Experience in writing and analysis
• Proven skills in research and documentation
Utilize your expertise in policy analysis to support First Nations' health initiatives and foster community empowerment at FNHA.
