The Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation is searching for a full-time Operations Manager to oversee the Food4

Schools program. This leadership position encompasses procurement, food production, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring that thousands of students receive nutritious meals weekly. We're looking for an experienced leader with a strong ability to manage teams, drive improvements, and support the program's long-term growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership across procurement and food delivery processes

• Develop standard operating procedures for quality and safety

• Monitor operational performance and implement solutions

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards

• Foster collaboration among kitchen staff and volunteers

Requirements:

• Minimum five years experience in operations management

• Educational background in food systems or logistics

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational tracking systems

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
