As a key member of the Global Tax function, you will drive Canadian income tax compliance and reporting. Your expertise in IFRS income tax provisions and tax account management will be essential. Collaboration with finance teams and supporting audit processes are also critical components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare income tax provisions in accordance with IFRS
• Maintain and reconcile tax account balances consistently
• Assist with audits by providing necessary tax information
• Review and analyze corporate income tax returns
• Implement tax process improvements and automation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar discipline
• CPA designation or working towards completion
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Canadian tax experience
• Knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations
• Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills
