We are looking for a Reporting Analyst, Credit Risk to join our Credit Risk team, so if you’re passionate about commercial lending and have experience with financial data analysis, we’d like to hear from you.

This opportunity offers the ability to work remotely from anywhere in British Columbia.

Reporting to the AVP, Credit Risk & Portfolio Monitoring, the Reporting Analyst, Credit Risk is responsible to ensure accurate and timely financial data analysis for the Risk Management team. Responsibilities include gathering, validating, and cleaning financial data, collaborating with departments to identify key risk indicators, implementing metrics and models, and maintaining data governance. The analyst conducts in-depth data analysis to identify trends and outliers, providing insights to support decision-making.

Generating regular risk reports and dashboards, integrating Power BI reports, and automating processes for efficiency are key focuses. The Reporting Analyst, Credit Risk also ensures compliance with regulations, communicates findings to non-technical stakeholders, and assists in regulatory audits. Overall, the role contributes to the institution's risk management strategy through effective data management, analysis, and process improvement.

Your duties will include:
  • Responsible to gather, validate, and clean financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify key risk indicators, understand data requirements and ensure the availability and integrity of relevant information.
  • Develop data requirement specifications for banking system and other systems.
  • Metrics and Security Management
  • Collaborates with IT Solutions and Central Operations on change management initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain metrics and models for risk measurement and analysis.
  • Implement and manage security measures, ensuring that sensitive information is appropriately restricted.
  • Responsible for audits, managing the integrity of credit reporting/LOS/banking system source data and ensures the effectiveness of established controls.
  • Responsible to document and maintain data lineage to support data governance and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of risk-related data to identify trends, outliers, and potential areas of concern.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision‑making within the Risk Management team.

Responsible for designing and generating regular risk reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Integrate Power BI reports into other applications or platforms used within the financial institution. Create ad‑hoc reports to address specific inquiries or emerging risk issues.
