Houseperson Position at Courtyard

Join the Courtyard by Marriott in Nanaimo, BC, as a Houseperson dedicated to keeping the hotel spotless and welcoming. This position entails various cleaning tasks to enhance guest satisfaction.

In this full-time role, you will draw on your previous experience in housekeeping to ensure all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, adhering to high performance standards while managing your tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms and hotel facilities

• Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally

• Use and maintain cleaning equipment according to standards

• Observe and maintain the appearance of common areas

• Keep a daily log of tasks, including lost and found items

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Room Attendant or similar

• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment

• Good physical stamina and health

• Availability for flexible work hours

• High school diploma is preferred
