Human Resources Partner at Island Health

This full-time position reports to the HR Manager and requires advising leaders on human resource strategies, performance management, and talent acquisition. The HR Partner must navigate complex labor relations while promoting engagement and continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HR advice and coaching to leadership teams

• Develop and implement talent management strategies

• Resolve employee relations and labor issues collaboratively

• Interpret collective agreements and organizational policies

• Facilitate training sessions and promote employee engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or Business Administration

• Minimum five years' experience in a multi-union environment

• Strong knowledge of HR disciplines and labor law

• Proven consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
