Drive clinical leadership at Oyster Harbour Seniors Community in Ladysmith, BC. The Assistant Director of Care will ensure high standards of resident care through effective management and empowerment of care teams.
In this pivotal part-time role, you will report to the Site Leader/Director of Care, focusing on the delivery of resident-centred programs. You will play a key part in the development of strategic initiatives, clinical oversight, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead by example to inspire nursing and care teams
• Ensure compliance with clinical care standards and regulations
• Manage resident care planning and documentation systems
• Promote collaborative practices among health professionals
• Monitor delivery of quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required
• Current registration with provincial regulatory body
• Demonstrated leadership experience in senior living
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and clinical standards
• Proven skills in communication and team leadership
