Job SummaryThe City of Nanaimo is seeking a permanent full‑time Manager, Corporate Communications & Community Relations. Reporting to the Director, Legislative Services and Communications, the Manager of Communications develops programs, manages resources and builds relationships to assist the City in ensuring its residents and partners are informed about issues that affect the community. The incumbent provides strategic communications and engagement advice on policy and program matters.

RequirementsApplicants must have a university degree in Communications, Public Relations or another related discipline, and at least five years of related experience in communications, including proven management and supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required.
Compensation and BenefitsThis is a permanent full‑time exempt position offering 35 hours of work per week, with a salary range of $ to $ and a competitive benefits package.
