No prior experience necessary to join our team. We offer complete training and the opportunity to obtain your level 1 general insurance license within 30 days of employment.
As an Auto Retention Associate
, you will be at the forefront of our sales team, driving growth and delivering top-notch service to our clients. Working in our vibrant call center, you will handle a high volume of calls, assisting potential clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met promptly and effectively. This role is ideal for someone who is self-managing, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
This position is available at our Nanaimo and Victoria, BC branch locations.
What you will bring to our team- A proven track record in sales, preferably in the insurance industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-oriented mindset
- Experience working in a call center environment
- High energy and enthusiasm with a competitive drive
- Self-starter who can manage their own time and workload effectively
- Goal-oriented with a relentless pursuit of success
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Level 1 General Insurance license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships over the phone
- Assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
- Handle a high volume of sales activities with a sense of urgency
- Navigate and resolve client issues with innovative problem-solving
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge
The expected salary range for this position is $40,000-$45,000, plus incentive pay, and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid‑time‑off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
