Your role focuses on cold calling and nurturing long-term partnerships.
In this position, you'll engage in proactive outreach to potential customers within the City of Nanaimo and its surroundings. You will utilize your 3-4 years of B2B sales experience while collaborating with both operational and administrative teams. Your consultative sales approach will drive the sales pipeline leveraging a dedicated sales tool for efficient tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source new business opportunities in Nanaimo, BC
• Enter gathered intelligence into the ARES system
• Collaborate with operations and administration in a team
• Identify customers through networking and cold calls
• Address customer inquiries promptly and effectively
Requirements:
• 3-4 years in B2B sales experience
• Experience with contract selling preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Vehicle access required for client meetings
