Service Advisor – Nanaimo Service Location

We are currently hiring a Service Advisor based in our Nanaimo Service Location.

• Greets customers in person and over the phone to promote BCAA insurance products and services.
• Collaborates with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend the right coverage.
• Identifies cost‑saving opportunities to support customers’ life events and future needs.
• Works with team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
• Participates in training courses, maintains annual licensing requirements, and stays current with products and services.

• At least two years’ experience in a sales and service environment.
• Level 1 Insurance licence, or a commitment to secure the licence within the first 45 days through BCAA (time and cost covered).
• Completion of Autoplan Essentials, or a commitment to complete within the first three months through BCAA (time and cost covered).
• Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
• Comfortable using technology, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bonus: CAIB certification, knowledge of ICBC systems, ability to speak languages other than English.

Salary range: $42,516.72 to $53,145.96, inclusive of base salary and a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%.
