Position: Geologist for Exploration Programs
Join Axis Geoscience as a Geologist supporting field-based exploration programs in New Brunswick. Engage in geological mapping, core logging, and safe sample handling in rugged environments.

This field-oriented contract role involves working with junior mineral exploration companies across Canada. You will plan, execute, and support geological activities and ensure precise data management. Flexibility to adapt within an efficient exploration team is essential, as well as strong field judgment and clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute field programs for mineral exploration

• Perform geological mapping and rock sampling

• Supervise drilling and validate geological data

• Maintain accurate core and field documentation

• Contribute to technical reporting and map generation

Requirements:

• Strong field skills and experience in remote terrains

• Expertise in core logging and drill supervision

• Knowledge of hard-rock systems and geophysical targeting

• Familiar with QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar software

• Commitment to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
