Exploration Geologist

Position: Exploration Geologist Contract Role
Axis Geoscience is hiring an Exploration Geologist for an exciting contract role based in New Brunswick. Focus on geological mapping, prospecting, and effective drill support in challenging terrains.

As a contract-based Geologist, your work will locally support field exploration programs for mineral resources across Canada. You will undertake geological mapping, supervise drill activities, and maintain stringent QA/QC protocols while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Strong independence and adaptability are vital in this dynamic role working alongside a small, agile exploration team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological mapping and prospecting activities

• Supervise drilling and provide essential support

• Collect and validate geological and geotechnical data

• Manage geological samples and documentation

• Prepare reports and exploration models from data

Requirements:

• Demonstrable field skills in geological mapping and sampling

• Experience with drill supervision and core record keeping

• Understanding of geological systems in hard-rock explorations

• Proficient with geological software, including GIS tools

• Strong focus on safety and environmental standards
