Position: Mosaic Forest Inventory Leadership Role
Mosaic is looking for a Forest Inventory Manager in Nanaimo, British Columbia. You will lead innovative approaches to manage forest data and ensure operational decision-readiness.

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Director of Timberlands & Optimization, you will leverage more than 7 years of field and analytical experience. Your responsibilities will include integrating diverse data sources into a strong inventory framework while fostering a culture of technical excellence among your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the management of forest inventory systems

• Utilize field measurements and remote sensing integration

• Oversee inventory data quality controls and processes

• Collaborate with operations and GIS technical teams

• Train and lead inventory staff to drive improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Forest Biometrics, or related

• Registered Professional Forester (RPF) eligible status

• 7+ years in forest inventory and analysis

• Strong analytical, quantitative background

• Effective communicator with diverse audiences
