Position: Maintenance Technician for WestUrban Properties
Become a key part of West Urban as a Maintenance Technician, managing multi-family buildings in Nanaimo, BC. A strong construction background will contribute to community development and quality maintenance.

West Urban is looking for a dedicated Part Time Maintenance Technician to assist with multi-family residential buildings, including occasional travel to Duncan and Victoria, BC. You will engage in various maintenance tasks, from painting and drywall work to diagnosing plumbing issues. Your ability to adapt and solve problems will be vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct painting and drywall patching as needed

• Identify and report operational faults

• Manage exterior maintenance of buildings

• Repair doors, windows, and appliances

• Address plumbing, heating, and electrical repairs

Requirements:

• Two years' experience in property management or construction

• Capability for physical tasks, including lifting

• Self-driven with a results-oriented approach

• Creative problem-solving abilities

• Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills
