In this hands-on position, you will work on various tasks including laying subflooring and erecting walls. You'll be responsible for fitting windows, installing hardware, and supervising fellow apprentices while gaining valuable training. The job requires flexibility to adapt to different work site environments, from residential to commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and assemble materials like wood and steel
• Build strong foundations and complete flooring installations
• Fit and install mouldings, stairs, and doors
• Instruct and supervise other apprentices
• Attend level one and apprenticeship training sessions
Requirements:
• High school graduation certificate
• Relevant experience is a strong asset
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to handle heavy loads and work outdoors
• Strong oral communication and reliability
