At GFL, we are investing in a greener future and seek a Heavy Duty Mechanic passionate about vehicle maintenance. You will conduct inspections, estimate repair costs, and utilize computer systems for diagnoses and repairs on diverse vehicle components. A Red Seal certification or advanced apprenticeship in Commercial Transport is required to ensure the highest standards in repair and maintenance are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance services on fleet vehicles

• Diagnose and repair suspension, brake, and air systems

• Record and document repairs in fleet maintenance software

• Execute safety inspections on all vehicles

• Ensure a clean and compliant work environment

Requirements:

• Journeyman Mechanic status or advanced 3rd Year Apprentice

• Strong computer skills for vehicle diagnostics

• Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 pounds

• Must have personal hand tools for service tasks

• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, or holidays
