Aspire Drywall Ltd. seeks a skilled Drywall Finisher in Nanaimo, BC for a full-time, permanent position. Bring your expertise in drywall installation and finishing to our dedicated team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
You'll work with metal corner beads, joint compounds, and taping machines while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with residential and commercial settings is a plus to ensure varied project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and install drywall sheets accurately
• Use a trowel for filling joints and cracks
• Apply multiple coats and sand surfaces evenly
• Read blueprints to guide installations
• Maintain job-related equipment and workspace cleanliness
Requirements:
• Fluent in English with high school diploma
• 1 to 2 years of drywall-related experience
• Strong problem-solving and organization skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Steel-toed boots and safety gear required
