Nanaimo Security Systems Technician

Become a vital part of our Nanaimo service team as a Security Systems Technician. This role focuses on installing and troubleshooting electrical security systems in diverse environments.

We are looking for a certified Electrician or Security Systems Technician to install and maintain various systems, including CCTV, access control, and healthcare technologies. Successful candidates will diagnose technical issues, program systems, and provide user training while maintaining compliance with all regulations. Your expertise will enhance our service delivery in residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure electrical security and access control systems

• Interpret blueprints and circuit diagrams for installations

• Respond to service calls; troubleshoot and resolve system issues

• Maintain service records and provide ongoing customer support

• Train users on security products and systems like Lenel, Axis, Genetec

Requirements:

• Valid Security Technician Trade Qualification or Electrician certification

• Experience in active construction sites

• Willing to obtain a Security Alarm Installer License

• Familiarity with products like Lenel and Axis preferred

• Valid driver's license with a clean record
