As a mechanic, your primary focus will be on the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty diesel trucks, following OEM repair standards. The ideal candidate will have their Red Seal Certification and be open to further training, including CNG certification.
Your role will heavily involve hydraulic diagnostics, ensuring the fleet operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on heavy-duty trucks
• Assist in the training and development of apprentices
• Maintain precise preventative maintenance records
• Keep work orders updated in the software system
• Effectively communicate repairs with drivers
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certification or an equivalent
• Experienced in hydraulic diagnostics
• Familiar with Cummins, Mack, and Allison systems
• Proficient with relevant software tools
• Must have a set of basic hand tools
