Bring your mechanical talents to Radius Recycling as a Mechanic II. This position is focused on hands-on machinery repair, quality control, and ensuring safety compliance across all operations.
As a Mechanic II, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, directly supported by the Maintenance Manager. The role requires a solid knowledge base and physical capability to perform varied tasks under flexible conditions. Excellence in service is the ultimate goal of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose repairs using advanced diagnostic tools
• Maintain and operate industrial production equipment
• Test and validate repaired mechanical products
• Assist other staff and management with operational needs
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED certification necessary
• At least 5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Capacity to lift 100 pounds on occasion
• Keen attention to detail and safety awareness
