Financial Controller

Sankaty Head Golf Club in Siasconset, Massachusetts, is seeking a Controller to join a private club founded in 1921 and known for its understated, informal atmosphere. Located on the eastern end of Nantucket Island beside the historic Sankaty Head Lighthouse, the Club offers members and their families golf, tennis, and beach facilities along with a full calendar of recreational and social activities.

The Controller is the Club's senior financial position and reports directly to the General Manager. This role directs accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and serves as a financial partner on operating and capital decisions. Key first-year priorities include taking ownership of the annual budget process, assessing and modernizing financial systems, and developing financing models for upcoming large capital projects.

This is a year-round, on-island position well suited to a finance professional with private club, hospitality, or seasonal business experience. As part of the compensation package, the Club offers a three-bedroom, two-bathroom on-site cottage provided at no cost.
