Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient Sports Medicine position on Nantucket Island, requiring a MA PT license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of experience.

• Outpatient Sports Medicine setting at a community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+ residents, with up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, with shifts starting between 8:00–8:30 AM
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Shared housing is provided at no cost to the traveler
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Flu vaccine required during flu season

• Active MA Physical Therapist license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required; AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted
