House Attendant
The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel’s public areas, providing assistance with guest luggage and deliveries, and ensuring the pool area is clean and well‑maintained. The role also supports the housekeeping team by stripping guest rooms and clearing hallways. Ideal candidates are friendly, efficient, and attentive to detail, contributing to the overall guest experience.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, pool, gym, fire pits and other public areas, to include outside of guest rooms and all public/indoor hallways in all buildings..
- Ensure all public areas are kept tidy, presentable, and free of hazards.
- Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies as needed.
- Stock linen and housekeeping closets with supplies as needed.
- Strip empty guest rooms and remove rubbish from hallways and closets.
- Deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms promptly.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Assist with guest transportation needs and valet parking services when required.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues efficiently.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including the pool area.
- The role involves working in various areas of the hotel, including public spaces, guest rooms, and the pool area.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, including luggage.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Basic understanding of the English language (written and verbal).
