American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital serving a year-round island community and seasonal visitors
- 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
- Patients include both local residents and a large increase in seasonal visitors
- Uses Epic for charting and EMR documentation
- Shared housing is provided at no cost
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Rotating shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Parking may have associated costs; public transportation options available
- Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital for standard travel rate eligibility
- Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at start
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA strongly preferred, Red Cross accepted for some locations)
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
