The Town’s nursing facility, Our Island Home, seeks a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to assist in providing direct patient care to the residents of Our Island Home.
Requirements- The nurse must be currently licensed in Massachusetts and in good physical and mental health.
- Completion of an accredited nurse licensure program or, if licensed by waiver, must comply with regulation of the MA Department of Public Health.
- Prior work experience in long‑term care healthcare is preferred.
- Must be able to lift and/or move objects no less than 50 pounds. More intensive physical effort may be necessary to assist residents when needed.
- Fluent in English.
- Work is performed in a nursing home environment.
Hourly rate $30. No benefits. Non‑Union.
