We are seeking an exceptional Store Manager to lead our Nantucket location, one of the most iconic and dynamic luxury retail environments in the country. This is a rare opportunity to represent a world‑class fashion house in a premier seasonal destination, where community presence, client connection, and operational excellence are essential.
Given the seasonal nature of Nantucket, this role requires a leader who can manage peak periods with sophistication, build strong local relationships, and oversee the store through key moments in the calendar, including October 15 through the Nantucket Stroll.
This is a full‑time, year‑round leadership role with a strong seasonal focus on Nantucket from April through early December, followed by cross‑location support in Florida during the winter months. The ideal candidate is adaptable, strategic, and comfortable leading across multiple locations while maintaining continuity in client relationships and brand standards.
Luxury fashion and fine jewelry leadership experience are strongly preferred.
ROLE OVERVIEWThe Store Manager is responsible for the overall sales performance, operations, and community presence of the Nantucket location. This leader advises and makes recommendations to leadership regarding business and sales trends while ensuring that Marissa Collections’ brand, service, and cultural standards are consistently upheld.
The Store Manager will play a critical role in shaping the store’s presence, client experience, and team performance throughout the season, while also serving as a key leadership partner across Marissa Collections’ Florida locations during the winter months.
SEASONAL OPERATIONS AND LOCATION STRUCTUREMarissa Collections’ Nantucket store operates on a seasonal calendar.
From April through October 15, the Store Manager will lead full in‑store operations, oversee staffing, and ensure an elevated client experience on the sales floor.
Following the Nantucket season, from January through March, this role will shift to support Marissa Collections’ Florida locations. During this time, the Store Manager will contribute to leadership coverage, client experience initiatives, and operational priorities as needed in Palm Beach and Naples.
The ideal candidate resides on the island and can commit fully to Nantucket from April through early December, with flexibility to work in Florida during the winter months.
LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT- Serve as an engaged, visible leader on the sales floor, modeling exceptional service and reinforcing Marissa Collections’ core values
- Lead the full lifecycle of designated direct reports, including hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management in collaboration with senior leadership and corporate partners
- Attract and recruit high‑caliber stylists and team members capable of long‑term success
- Coach the sales team on performance, professional development, and service excellence
- Ensure the team demonstrates strong product knowledge, effective selling techniques, and thoughtful time management
- Establish and monitor store KPIs, sales goals, and recognition programs at both individual and team levels
- Deliver the highest level of service expected of a luxury brand and mentor the team on service standards
- Act as a key relationship owner, strengthening client loyalty and brand awareness
- Serve as a Marissa Collections ambassador within the Nantucket community, actively seeking outreach and networking opportunities
- Develop and support client recognition initiatives that enhance engagement and retention
- Address and resolve client concerns with professionalism to protect and elevate the store’s reputation
