Store Associate

Dairy Boy is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand built around a new vision of American style — blending nostalgia, sport, and everyday life with a point of view that feels fresh, intentional, and distinctly its own. This summer, we're opening our first permanent retail location on Nantucket, and we're building the team that will bring the brand to life on the floor.

We're looking for outgoing and driven Store Associates who are excited to represent Dairy Boy in-store — bringing energy to the floor, building genuine customer connections, and helping create a memorable, community-centered retail experience.

The right person is warm, observant, and quick on their feet. They understand that great retail is about people first, and they take pride in turning a walk-in into a relationship. They care about how the store looks, feels, and runs, and they're as comfortable steaming product or restocking a wall as they are styling a customer or running the POS.

You’ll report to our Head of Retail and work alongside the broader Nantucket store team across all aspects of the in-store experience. Specifically:

• Welcome customers, build genuine connections, and deliver a high-touch, personal shopping experience
• Drive sales through styling, product knowledge, and thoughtful recommendations
• Operate POS confidently and accurately, including transactions, returns, and gift wrapping
• Maintain visual standards on the floor — restocking, steaming, folding, and keeping displays sharp throughout the day
• Support opening and closing procedures, inventory counts, and back-of-house organization
• Help bring in-store events, activations, and community moments to life
• Capture content and moments worth sharing as opportunities arise
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

• A warm, outgoing personality and genuine love for connecting with people
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a sense of ownership over the customer experience
• Comfort on your feet for full shifts, and ability to lift and move product as needed
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak summer hours
• Interest in fashion, lifestyle, and the Dairy Boy world
• Retail experience is a plus but not required — we're open to all backgrounds

This is our first permanent store, and the team we hire this summer will help define what Dairy Boy retail looks and feels like going forward. You'll work closely with senior leadership, play a real role in shaping the customer experience, and be part of one of the most exciting summers on the island.

This is a seasonal, in-person role based on Nantucket. Full-time and part-time positions available.
