ACKVENTURE ASSISTANT SWIM COACH

Sports and Wellness Coordinator
Terms of Employment:
This is a seasonal, part-time position (June 2026 to August 2026).
Pay is based on experience, with an hourly starting rate of $20-$25.
JOB SUMMARYThe assistant swim coach will be expected to supervise and actively engage children in and out of the water during the Nantucket Community School’s summer swim camp. This role supports the Head Coach in delivering a safe, positive, and skill-focused swim camp experience for participants aged 9-12 years old, encompassing both in-water instruction and out-of-water dryland activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in competitive swimming and prior experience working with children in a camp, team, or instructional setting.
QUALIFICATIONS- Must be 16 years or older.
- Experience in related fields (sports, coaching, childcare, camp counselor) is preferred.
- Previous working or volunteer experience with children.
- Certification in CPR/first aid or willingness to be certified by June 30, 2025.
