ACKVENTURE TENNIS COACH
REPORTS TO:
Sports and Wellness Coordinator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a seasonal, part-time position (June 2026 to August 2026).
Pay is based on experience with an hourly rate of $22-$27.
JOB SUMMARY: Coaches will be expected to supervise, coach, and engage children in the Nantucket Community School Sports and Wellness department during the 2026 summer months from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coaches will work under the direct supervision of the Sports and Wellness Coordinator. All sports will be based out of the Nantucket Public School campuses.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Experience in related fields (sports, coaching, childcare, camp counselor) is preferred.
- Ability to converse with caregivers pleasantly and effectively.
- Previous working or volunteer experience with children.
- Certification in CPR/first aid or willing to be certified. Certification is required by June 30, 2026.
