Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Onsite-Napa, CA
About the RoleWe re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in accounting while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules
- Help maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment runs
- Support the team during audits by gathering requested documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent progress toward one)
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships apply)
- Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, SAP, or Net Suite) is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Progress toward CPA, ACCA, or other professional certification
- Wine Industry Experience
- Familiarity with DtC (direct to consumer) industry
- One remote workday per week may be available after the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, subject to business needs and manager approval.
