We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate for our Administrative offices located in Napa, CA.

The Accounts Receivable Associate performs a variety of duties to ensure the company receives payment for goods and services provided and is responsible for posting payments to accounts and account receivable processing. This position will also assist in customer service calls to reconcile customer account discrepancies.

• 2+ years’ experience in accounting or account receivable function required.
• Familiarity with accounting software programs required.

• Posts payments (cash, check and credit card) and adjustment ensuring all payments and adjustments are balanced daily.
• Compiles a daily deposit of account payments.
• Scans checks for deposit to bank.
• Picks up and sorts incoming mail.
• Answers incoming calls.
• Helps to resolve customer billing questions and assists with requests for information.
• Contacts customers with overdue accounts to collect payment or get a payment ‘set’ date.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Comfortable with learning various software programs
• Able to perform routine mathematical calculations; 10-key by touch
• Excellent customer service skills
