Health Unit Coordinator – Obstetrics Unit

Position Overview
:
The Health Unit Coordinator provides clerical, order entry and receptionist support in the Obstetrics Acute Department at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. The role works 8-hour evening shifts, collaborating with nurses to support patient care while performing duties under moderate supervision.

• Perform clerical tasks, including order entry and reception desk duties.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate patient care activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with administrative functions.
• Provide support to the obstetrics unit as needed.

• Coursework/Training and Medical Assistant training.
• Minimum 3 months of clerical experience in the medical field within last 2 years.
• 6 months of acute care experience.

Pay range: $26.82 – $33.90 per hour. Eligible for shift differentials, overtime, and other incentives. Comprehensive benefits include 401(k) with employer match, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability, paid time off, and wellness resources.
