Be part of something new and exciting! As we recently opened our Hansel Ford of Napa dealership, we are looking for motivated technicians who want to grow with us and build a long‑term career. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new Ford store backed by a stable, well‑established automotive group with 9 dealerships and multiple brands.

The Service Technician utilizes all the state‑of‑the‑art equipment and training to efficiently and safely maintain and repair our customers' vehicles. Working as a part of our amazing service team, the technician provides a second-to-none experience for each and every customer.

Hansel Auto Group services the following brands:
Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW, Subaru, Volkswagen

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
  • Examines customer vehicles
  • Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Estimates cost of repairs
  • Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Documents services performed
  • Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
  • Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
  • Great working demeaner with co-workers
  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
Qualifications and Skills
  • Multiple years' Experience as a Master/Senior automotive technician
  • Ford Certified Technician is a huge plus!
  • ASE Certificates
  • Provide a clean and valid California license
  • Have the highest level of workmanship
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and safety focused
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a background check

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and sit for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Driving Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy and insurer requirements

Pay Defined

Pay Defined:

For a productive/bonus-based pay plan the Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $33.80. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
