Requirements / QualificationsPhillips Magnet Elementary School offers a specialized LEAD program (Leadership, Engineering, Art, and Design). Developing strong leaders is the mission students learn skills and habits through leadership lessons each week. These habits are applied through service and communication with the greater community. Students also participate in integrated units that support academic content in Science and Social Studies with opportunities to tinker and create using engineering and design thinking.
Art is also an important component of learning dents regularly visit our designated art studio and whole school family art events are held each year. As a community school, we at Phillips welcome and encourage families to participate in the learning at school and have a voice in building a strong program for all students.
