In-Person After School Teacher

We're looking for a patient, experienced tutor to work with a 5th grader in-home in Napa, starting mid-August.

• Monday–Thursday, 5:00–7:30 PM (start time flexible between 5 and
  6) Roughly 8 - 12 hours per week
• Math, science, and reading/writing support, plus keeping homework on track
• In our home near St. John's Lutheran school in Napa

• Experience with elementary-age students, ideally 4th–6th grade
• Bachelor's Degree, minimum
• Someone who can build a routine and hold it while also be willing to be flexible and incorporate movement into sessions
• Willing to complete a background check (we'll cover the cost)
• Two references we can call

• $60 per hour
• We're looking for someone who wants this through the school year, not a few weeks
• You will be a part of Teach Play Learn's network, so this opportunity could open up future roles.

For the immediate hire in Napa, this student is child is bright and charismatic. Loves movement and benefits from someone who will remain calm and explain things in alternative ways. It is also beneficial if this person can come up with alternative means of practicing similar concepts.
